In reply to Very Frustrated Parent’s post on October 8, It should be possible using William’s solution. Sign in to the child’s machine with an administrator account.
Copy the text in the box: Windows Registry Editor Version 5. Then save it on the desktop, selecting All files as the file type and extend. Double-click on the desktop file to add the entry to the registry. Sign out, then sign in with the child account. Then try adding an extension.
